Family Fun

We recently had two fun family adventures.  The first one was a trip to the Tuacahn theater with my mom and sister in St. George.  Tuacahn is an outdoor theater that performs a variety of musicals every summer.  This summer they were performing Tarzan (based on the Disney movie) and Crazy For You (based on music from the Gershwin brothers).  Brigham and I saw Tarzan and Karen and my mom saw Crazy For You.  Tarzan was a fun show!  Because it's all outdoors, they had people zip-lining above us and at one point they flooded the stage.  Lots of acrobats and monkey-fun.  It was also nice to just get away for a few days.  We stayed at Aunt Ruth's condo and it was nice and peaceful and quiet there.

Since fall is rapidly approaching, we took our annual family trip up Provo Canyon to see all the beautiful fall colors.  We have a favorite park up there that stays pretty deserted and Elijah loves it because there's a lot of space to run and be free.  We've been lucky that the weather's been very warm and nice.  Last year when we went it was quite windy and cold.  We had a lovely morning in the canyon.

We're looking forward to more adventures coming in October.  Brigham and I have trip planned to Puerto Rico (with no baby!) when he goes down there for work.  We thought it would be fun to get away one more time before the new baby comes and I've always wanted to go there.  The only nice thing about having a husband who travels is the frequent flier miles, so the trip will be at minimal cost to us.  Hopefully the weather continues to be good and we can enjoy as much of the outdoors as we can before it gets too cold!
